Meet Reniel
Founder of RIL Talk | U.S. Army Veteran
At 17 years old, I left Jamaica and came to the United States of America in pursuit of a better life and my own version of the American Dream. Driven by a commitment to serve, I enlisted in the United States Army, where I proudly served three overseas tours. My military experience instilled in me the values of discipline, integrity, and dedication to others—principles that continue to guide me today.
Following my military service, I built a career in automotive sales, finance, and management. Throughout those years, I witnessed firsthand how credit challenges prevented hardworking individuals from obtaining reliable transportation. For many, a vehicle wasn’t a luxury but a necessity to get to work, support their families, and build a better future.
Those experiences inspired me to look beyond helping people purchase vehicles and focus on addressing the financial obstacles limiting their opportunities.
That vision became RIL Talk.
Outside of my professional life, I’m a proud husband, father, and animal lover. I value spending quality time with family, staying active, meditating, traveling, and embracing new experiences.
I believe true success is measured not only by personal achievements but also by the positive impact we make in the lives of others.
What began as my pursuit of a better life has evolved into a commitment to helping others build a better future for themselves and their families.
